A festive trail celebrating creativity, community, and local heritage
This December, Bermondsey is “arted” / lighting up! DOWNLOAD THE MAP!
From 1–25 December, 25 local windows will be transformed into magical illuminated artworks — each one created by local schools, charities, artists, and independent businesses.
Every day, a new window will be revealed on social media as part of the Bermondsey Advent Windows Trail, inspired by the area’s rich history as “The Larder of London.”
You can follow the daily unveilings online, then wrap up warm, grab a hot drink, and explore the trail yourself.
It’s free, festive, and perfect for families, friends, and anyone who loves Bermondsey’s creative spirit.

- A daily Advent reveal on Instagram and Facebook — follow along and guess where the next window will appear!
- A trail map to help you explore them all, discover hidden corners, and support local businesses along the way.
- Illuminated displays that bring light, colour, and community cheer to the streets of SE16.
📍 Theme: “The Larder of London”
Each window celebrates Bermondsey’s proud past as the place that once stored and supplied London’s tea, coffee, spices, dairy, and meat. Expect creative nods to the area’s food heritage mixed with plenty of Christmas sparkle.
