We love showcasing Bermondsey through the eyes of our community. That’s why we’re inviting you to share your photos and videos with us! We’ll still continue to use the photographers and film-ographers on a professional basis, but we wanted a way of encouraging people to share their own content with us.
If you tag @bermondsey.london in your posts on Instagram, Facebook, Youtube or TikTok, we may choose to feature your content on our website or in publications we produce.
- If we use your photo or video on our website or in printed/digital publications, we’ll pay you £25 per image or video clip.
- If we simply like, share, or repost your social media content, this doesn’t qualify for the £25 payment – it only applies if your work appears on our website or in an official Bermondsey BID publication.
- By tagging us, you’re confirming that you own the rights to the content and that it’s free of licensing restrictions.
Terms & Conditions
- Eligibility
- You must be the original creator of the photo/video, or hold the full rights to the content you submit by tagging us.
- Content must not infringe on third-party rights (including copyright, trademarks, privacy, or publicity rights).
- Tagging as Submission
- By tagging @bermondsey.london, you grant Bermondsey BID a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publish, and distribute your tagged content on our website (bermondsey.london) and in any related publications.
- This license is conditional on us crediting you wherever possible and making the £25 payment if the content is used on our site or in print.
- Payment
- Payment is £25 per individual image or video published.
- Payments will be made by bank transfer or PayPal within 30 days of publication.
- Liking, sharing, or reposting on social media does not trigger a payment.
- Rights and Warranties
- By tagging us, you confirm you are the sole owner of the content and that no other person or organisation has rights or claims over it.
- You agree to indemnify Bermondsey BID against any claims or disputes that arise if this assurance is untrue.
- Duration and Use
- Once paid, Bermondsey BID may use the content indefinitely on bermondsey.london and in associated BID publications (digital or print).
- We will always aim to credit you when your content is used.
- Exclusions
- Content that is illegal, offensive, or deemed unsuitable by Bermondsey BID will not be considered.
- Content with identifiable individuals must have their consent to be shared.
