We opened the first Bone Daddies ramen joint back in 2012 on Peter Street in Soho. Bone Daddies was all about hot homemade broth, fit fried chicken and rock ‘n’ roll. We’ve grown a bit since then, but thirteen years later – our rock ‘n’ roll ramen ethos has stayed the same. It’s why our ramen bars are buzzing with classic rock playlists and can get a little rowdy with the right crowd after a few beers and sakes. We wanted to change people’s perceptions of Japanese food from something exclusive and make it accessible.
We keep it honest and make our food from scratch to ensure it’s the highest quality – we don’t compromise on that, ever. Bermondsey is particularly special to us because it’s where we make our homemade ramen broths. Our Pork Bone Broth takes over 18 hours, lovingly made by our broth experts – and the immense flavour is extracted through hard boiling and pressure cooking over 180kg of meat and bones and 18kg of vegetables.
We now have seven ramen bars in London. In Bermondsey and beyond, our walls are adorned with Japanese rockabillies and the speakers are pumping out old school rock ‘n’ roll tunes, as our epic crew serve up the best bowls of noodles you’ll find in London.
